GRANT WRITER

Reporting to the Executive Director, The Grant Writer is responsible for acquiring appropriate government and private grant funds from sources aligned with the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona. The Grant Writer must be productive and organized, and willing to take the initiative to get things done. This position also requires strong communication skills, as the Grant Writer will work remotely to ensure funding for critical services for children and families can continue without interruption. RECEPTIONIST – Bilingual Preferred

The Receptionist position reports to the Advocate Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for the first impression of the organization, to the families, partners and community members who receive services at or through the Center. The Receptionist position requires high-level skills in communication, working with diverse groups, ensuring positive engagement with families through the check-in process, while they are at the Center and when they check-out. This position works closely with the Administrative Assistant, and provides clerical support for staff and the various programs at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southern Arizona.

BILINGUAL FAMILY ADVOCATE

This position reports directly to the Advocate Program Coordinator. Advocates are responsible for coordinating all SACAC case management services for non-offending caretakers, and children who are victims of a crime of abuse or neglect. A key function of this position is to provide crisis intervention support, resource and referral information, and follow-up case management services to families.  Advocates are responsible for ensuring a safe, child and family friendly environment, and ensuring that families receive services in a timely and appropriate manner.  Advocates coordinate the multidisciplinary team (MDT) that responds to reports of child abuse or neglect. On a rotating basis, advocates participate and respond to requests for services after-hours from community partners and ensure that multidisciplinary team protocols are being followed, and that services provided by the Center are free of any hindrances.
