Reporting to the Family Support Program Coordinator, the Prevention Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders to support the mission of the Center. The Prevention Specialist provides prevention presentations to children and adults, coordinates training for Emergency Responders, and supports the work of the Southern Arizona Child Abuse Prevention Council. Reporting to the Advocacy Program Coordinator, The Childcare Provider is responsible for assisting the Advocates by providing support and care for child victims who come to the Children’s Advocacy Center. The Childcare Provider provides opportunities and activities for structured and unstructured play, with a focus on trauma-informed care. The Childcare Provider also prepares and provides snacks or meals based on the need for evidence collection and/or time of day. Please see the job description for more details.
