Crisis Counselor
● Develop a plan of action for the client based on their specific needs, with input from the multi-disciplinary team
● Provide crisis counseling and stabilization for victims and non-offending family members
● Conduct follow-up to provide continued development of coping skills until the client is ready to transition to long-term care
● Provide referrals to long-term counseling as needed, striving to develop relationships with quality providers to ensure a streamlined transition for clients
● Serve as liaison between client and other mental health providers
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Master’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
● Previous experience in crisis counseling or other related therapy
● Must have or be working toward licensure
● Must have reliable transportation and a valid government issued ID
● Must be able to pass a fingerprint and criminal background check
● Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Training and Community Outreach Specialist – Bilingual
QUALIFICATIONS:
Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (on-call)
Duties and responsibilities include triage, consultations, medical exams, evidence collection, and other related services. Maintain appropriate patient records and track outcomes data; assist with partner reports and narratives. Participate in monthly Peer Review meetings. The SAFE answers to the Medical Director for all clinical aspects of the position.
