Open Positions:

Child Care Specialist

The Childcare Specialist is responsible for assisting the Advocates by providing support and care for child victims who come to the Children’s Advocacy Center. The Childcare Specialist provides opportunities and activities for structured and unstructured play, with a focus on trauma-informed care. The Childcare Specialist also prepares and provides snacks or meals based on the need for evidence collection and/or time of day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 High school diploma or GED required, with some college or technical schooling preferred.

 One year of experience in an early childhood education setting.

 Experience working with survivors of trauma preferred.

 Demonstrated knowledge/training in Arizona Early Learning Standards and Infant Toddler Guidelines.

 Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
