SUMMARY:Protective Factors for Strengthening Families
DESCRIPTION:The Strengthening Families model was designed to build family r
 esilience\, strengthening parent/caregiving skills\, produce optimal child
  development\, and prevent child maltreatment. The model highlights 5 Prot
 ective Factors that have been shown to produce these positive outcomes. In
  the training\, participants will receive an overview of the Strengthening
  Families theory\, as well as the 5 Protective Factors and how to support 
 the growth of protective factors in families. This training also includes 
 an overview of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
